The 61st round of MIYAJIMA Yacht Race.
26 yachts, which are weak in the wind and drizzling, start on the narrow strait that separates HATSUKAICHI and ITSUKUSHIMA-Island (MIYAJIMA).
We will challenge the course of about 13 nm that goes around the island.
This yacht race has always been of interest.
KINEKINE-XI (IMX40) with a drone on board.
However, the tide and the weak wind peculiar to the SETO Inland Sea bother the pure racer to cruiser from 23 to 52footer.
In the absence of wind, high tide boats are still tough if tidal currents make everyone go up and down at the same speed and are tied up.

61回目を迎える「宮島一周ヨットレース」。
当初の予定から延期され、海の日の7月23日に開催されました。
風が弱く、小雨が滴る中26艇のヨットが、廿日市と厳島を隔てる狭い海峡をスタート。
島を一回りする約13nmのコースに挑みます。
以前から興味のあったこのヨットレース。
KINEKINE-XI（IMX40）にドローンを引っ提げ搭乗。
しかし、瀬戸内海特有の潮と弱い風に、23ft〜52ftの純レーサーからクルーザー、全てが悩まされる。
風が無いと、潮流で皆が同じ速度で進んだり下がったりで、連れ潮で流されていった場合は、高レートの艇は、やっぱり苦しいです。
