This video is a short tutorial on how to fly a drone from a boat. This video covers take off and landing, settings and safety planning. The drone I use in this video is a DJI mavic air drone. The polarizer filters I use are the polar pro cinema series ND and polarizer filters.
Flying a drone from a boat can be a great way to get amazing pictures and videos. It can be challenging however and extreme caution should be taken when attempting to launch or land a drone off a boat. Hand launching and catching a drone can be extremely dangerous and I do not recommend it for anyone except the highly experienced with drones.
Obey all local and national drone laws, always practice extreme saftey when operating drones. Seek professional instruction before learning to fly your drone. Do not harass wildlife with your drone. Never fly in national parks. Use an app like airmap to plan flights and avoid protected airspace.
